Accountant Sydney

A global company in the food and beverage industry. Location: Hybrid (mostly work from home but occasionally in office).

Accountant is responsible for the full set accounting function of a global business including the general ledger, inventory, costings, reconciliations, banking and payroll. This role will also be a resource to assist the Finance & Admin team members on site.

Duties:

Ensure the day-to-day financial procedures and processes are accurate and recorded in a timely manner.
Inventory including reconciliations, review and investigation of variances.
Work closely with the Financial Controller and CFO to satisfy monthly reporting requirements.
Maintain ECommerce system.
AR, Billing, AP, Payroll.
Undertake ad hoc projects as directed by senior management.

The successful applicant:

Accounting qualification coupled with at least 1 year of working experience. You will possess excellent English communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well.

Intermediate Excel skill with preferably hands-on Xero experience.
