Mink Pink fashion Group Pty Ltd is trading as House of Quirky. It operates out of offices in Sydney, LA, China and London, comprising three in-house brands plus multi-brand online stores. It based out of the Sydney studios and collectively, they boast decades of experience in delivery of fashion to over 30 countries. Growing rapidly both locally and internationally, such as Nordstrom, Shop bop, Planet Blue, Urban Outfitters, Macy’s, Revolve, Free People, Lulu’s, Pacsun, and David Jones & Myer. We are currently looking for a company accountant to joint this dynamic team.
This is an important role which will provide tax, accounting and business advisory services. The successful candidate will have a clear and direct career path to achieve long term personal growth.

Finance and Reporting:
• Prepare monthly financial reports for all entities.
• Create reporting packages for group presentations to the Board.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts including intercompany, balance sheet, and bank accounts.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and prepare rolling forecasts.
• Review profit centre P&Ls and validate costs against budgets.
• Manage payroll processing, leave entitlements, and staff allowances.
• Monitor aged debtors and handle bad payers.
• Liaise with department heads on financial performance.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Coordinate annual audits across regions.
• Complete tax requirements (e.g., BAS, GST, VAT, sales tax).
• Manage payroll tax and superannuation lodgements.
Operations and Team Management:
• Ensure strong financial controls and oversee GL reconciliations.
• Collaborate with department managers to improve processes.
• Manage foreign exchange risk.
• Maintain lease and client agreements.
• Manage supply chain relationships.
• Work on ad-hoc projects as required.
Skills and Experience:
• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Background in the fashion industry and experience with Apparel 21 system preferred.
